Bio

I currently work at Learfield College as a studio host for the Arizona and UCONN Sports Networks. I also have filled in for multiple different broadcasts and properties throughout my time in Winston-Salem.

As a senior at Ohio University, I provided play-by-play primarily for women's basketball; I was also on the call for other sports the university offers. I have experience calling seven sports (football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, soccer, wrestling, gymnastics). I have worked at Division I and the local high school level, where I'm on the call for the WHIZ Game of the Week.

I am more than just a sports broadcaster. I also co-hosted a daily hour-long sports radio show for WATH/WXTQ. I have worked for multiple publications covering both college and high school athletics. You can see samples of my work and get a detailed breakdown of my experience here on my site.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions and check me out on social media!

Throughout my career I have been able to work alongside and under some amazing people. Here are just a few people who have given me the chance to follow my dream to this point.

  • David Kinder

David Kinder suggested that I get brought onto the WHIZ Game of the Week broadcast at WHIZ. While working alongside David, we’ve been on the call for two years together, including a state championship game. Since he brought me on at WHIZ, I have provided duties for both play-by-play and color commentary for football, basketball, and volleyball.

  • Brian Boesch

Brian Boesch is an Ohio alum who is the basketball play-by-play broadcaster at the University of Michigan. He reached out to our broadcasting group at Ohio and spoke to us. Afterward, Brain and I kept in touch, and he has helped me hone my abilities to where they are now.

  • Marty Bannister

Marty Bannister is the current ESPN broadcaster and a broadcast consultant for Ohio University. Marty helped the student broadcast organization get calls set up for every sporting event at the university. He also helped me get better as a broadcaster and showed me the ropes of being a team broadcaster when it came to Ohio Women’s Basketball.
